Our story
The roots of the Sbaraglia company were born in the 1970s, when the founders Faustino Sbaraglia and Michele Sbaraglia began a journey made of passion, sacrifice and ingenuity.
The first steps were taken in Torrevecchia Teatina, in the province of Chieti, in the heart of Abruzzo, between sea and mountains, where the first constructions and sales of agricultural equipment were born: carri botte, motozappe, scales, torches, spandiconcime and many other machines for agriculture. Sales took place in the shop-workshop under the house and, thanks to the distinctive Camion Rossi Sbaraglia, in the markets and countries of Abruzzo — symbol of an era made of hard work and direct contact with customers.
The innovation of the 1980s
In 1986, Michele Sbaraglia, together with his wife Elisa — because behind every great man there is always a great woman — took a significant step forward: the design of the first compressors for olive harvesting and pruning, both carrellati and with three-point attachment.
This innovation represents a significant turning point in the world of agricultural technology.
Growth and successes
In the years following, up to the early 2000s, the company continued to grow by building more and more performant carrellati compressors. Among the most successful models are the Columbia from 650 liters and the Falcon from 800 liters.
The third generation
With the entry of the third generation, represented by the young entrepreneur Matteo Sbaraglia, the company lives a new phase of transformation. Sales are started in Italy and abroad, the first motor compressors with kit, the abbacchiatori, the agent network and the first distributors are born. In 2004 the first pneumatic abbacchiator is realized.
Today: tradition and technology
Today Sbaraglia continues its journey with a look towards the future, introducing new electronic technologies: latest generation abbacchiators, professional shafts and garden machines with battery. Quality, innovation and post-sales service remain central.
